"Ranja" means "to prepare" in Cabo Verdean Kriolu. 

Ranja CV is a relatively new international organization that was founded in April 2019.  Ranja CV is a registered Corporation in the U.S. state of Rhode Island (currently applying for 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Status).

OUR MISSION

Ranja CV aims to increase networking & mentorship opportunities among Cabo Verdeans around the World. We aim to prepare & empower each other to make a shared positive impact in the CV community.

We accomplish our mission in two ways:

(1) Ranja CV Leadership Program

(2) Online Opportunities for Networking & Collaboration

MENTORSHIP

• The Ranja CV Leadership Program mentors young CVs providing college students with mentors and leadership development. (Launching Fall 2022)

NETWORKING

• International Virtual Networking Events for Cabo Verdeans

• Our Blog showcases the stories and experiences of Cabo Verdeans doing amazing things all over the world.

Our Vision

We envision an interconnected multi-generational force of  Cabo Verdean leaders who are: (1) dedicated to making an impact in the Cabo Verdean community, (2) committed to mentoring the next generation of leaders (3) and ready and willing to support all Cabo Verdeans in the pursuit of their individual endeavors.

We also aim to support the dedicated organizations & the great work that is already being done by the community leaders within the Cabo Verdean Diaspora in Cabo Verde, the U.S., and all around the World.
